Nerds. Blogging. It's a Pretty Simple Concept

I'm Back

Those of you who follow the goings on here at My NerdCore may probably noticed that things have been rather quiet the last few months, and to all 4 of you, I’d like to apologize. For those of you who are new, here’s a quick recap of the last few months.

Ben and I had talked for quite a while about starting up some sort of nerdblog, and in July, we finally decided to get our collective s&^% together and get writing. We got to nerd out and write about comic books, video games, and other even more nerdy things. And then <ominous voice> EVERYTHING CHANGED </ominous voice>.

I, (grumpyhawk), got a job offer I simply couldn’t refuse. I would be working with some good friends, at a better company, with room for growth, and a hefty bump in salary as well. However, all this awesomeness came with a downside; it required me moving from Nashville to Austin, TX. Now, as if the cross country move wasn’t crazy enough, I was given roughly 2 weeks to accomplish this task. I repeat, 2 weeks to pick up and move myself, my wife, and our insanely cute rabbit 900 miles away to cowboy country.

This, of course led to me having to drop everything, including blogging, and work like a madman to get packed, moved, unpacked (an ongoing process) and then figure out what this new job entailed. And on top of all that, I get to learn the ins and outs of a new city and state (which, contrary to popular belief, does NOT contain an Arlen, TX. damn youse, Mike Judge!)

If you’ve read this far, thanks. Really. I appreciate it. In all seriousness, I have great plans for this site, and now that life has settled down a tiny bit, I’m getting started on them again. Over the next few months, expect to see more frequent posts from Ben and I both, and maybe even from some new people as well.
